Support for Way In Counselling

Donations for young people and their families

Services for schools and organisations and activities for young people. Working in creative and challenging ways to help you to reach your full potential. We believe we do vital work here at Way In Counselling supporting the mental health of young people from across Dacorum, Three Rivers, Chiltern and South Buckinghamshire. But we need to continually raise funds to be able to operate from day to day. Our charitable objectives are to provide well-being and counselling services to local young people and their families.

Read below what our clients say about their experiences with us. We do charge a sliding scale of fees depending on personal circumstances, and in some cases we provide our services for free to those who are particularly disadvantaged or on a low income. Which means we are reliant on donations from individuals and grants from organisations and company partners to keep going. We welcome approaches from any organisation looking to strengthen their core business values while contributing to the local community. Your donation can make a real difference, whether it’s a one-off contribution or a longer-term corporate partnership. Choosing to work with Way In Counselling can have a lasting impact for both of us: we get the funds we need, and your organisation benefits from partnering with an established local charity. To give you an idea of the difference your support could make:

  • £25 pays for one session with a trained counsellor
  • £200 will take a young person through a complete counselling programme
  • £1000 will pay for a complete programme of family therapy

It’s a well-worn cliché but every penny you can donate to us will make a lasting positive impact on the mental health of our local young people. For more information about donating to us please get in touch.

Testimonials from some of our clients

“Way-In has helped me sort out some difficulties I was having with my parents at home. They helped me to think about what I was doing that was causing problems and also how to communicate better with my parents so that I could explain my point of view. They are really great and I would recommend them to anybody who needs to talk about their problems.” - Jake 15

“The counsellor at Way In really helped me when I was feeling low and quite depressed. She had great patience and listened to me and helped me find a way forward.” - Helen 14

“Way-In is a warm and friendly place where you feel that you are being really listened to.” - Paula 18
